HONG KONG GUANYU ELSEWHERE CO., LIMITED（香港觀閾有限公司）, trading as ELSEWHERE / 观閾 ("ELSEWHERE", "we", "us" or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal data when you visit else-where.co, submit an inquiry, explore a Journey or Bespoke Way, or contact us about a partnership.

We are responsible for the personal data we collect through this website. Our registered address is RM 101A, 1/F., GENPLAS INDBUILDING, 56 HOI YUEN ROAD, KWUNTONG, HONG KONG. Questions or requests concerning personal data may be sent to programs@else-where.co.

1. Personal data we collect
   Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
   - your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and country or region;
   - the subject and content of a general inquiry;
   - information relevant to a proposed journey, including traveller or group type, intended region, preferred destination, estimated group size, preferred dates or period, estimated duration, purpose and intended outcomes;
   - partnership information, including your website or portfolio, partnership type, place of work, proposed contribution, intended form of collaboration, and relevant experience or references;
   - correspondence and other information you choose to provide after making an inquiry; and
   - limited technical and usage information generated when you visit the website, as described under "Analytics and cookies" below.
   Please do not submit passport details, payment-card information, medical information or other sensitive personal data through a general website form. If such information becomes necessary for a confirmed journey, the relevant licensed travel operator will explain how it should be provided and handled.

   
   

2. How we use personal data
   We use personal data to:
   - receive, review and respond to inquiries;
   - understand your interests, group, timing, purpose and proposed journey;
   - prepare or discuss a planning proposal, collaboration or next step;
   - communicate with you and maintain a record of our correspondence;
   - introduce you, where appropriate and with suitable notice, to the licensed travel operator or other service provider required to develop or deliver a proposed journey;
   - operate, secure, maintain and improve the website;
   - prevent misuse, fraud or security incidents; and
   - comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and professional obligations.
   Submitting an inquiry does not create a booking, contract or payment obligation.
   We do not currently use inquiry details to send newsletters or unrelated promotional messages. If we introduce marketing communications in the future, we will provide an appropriate choice and a way to opt out.

   
   

3. When we disclose personal data
   We may disclose relevant personal data only where reasonably necessary to:
   - Framer, which hosts the website and processes native form submissions;
   - Microsoft, where correspondence or form notifications are received through our Outlook email account;

   - our professional advisers, insurers, technology providers and contractors, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations; or
   - public authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety or security.

4. Cross-border processing
   Our website and communications use service providers that may process or store data outside Hong Kong. A proposed journey may also require communication with a licensed operator or supplier in Mainland China or another destination. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to limit the information transferred, use it only for the stated purpose, and require appropriate protection having regard to applicable law.

   
   

5. Retention
   We normally retain personal data connected with an inquiry for up to 24 months after our last substantive communication. We may retain it for longer where a proposal, planning relationship, partnership or journey remains active, where you ask us to do so, or where retention is required for legal, regulatory, accounting, dispute-resolution or security purposes.
   When personal data is no longer reasonably required, we will delete it or anonymise it.

   We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

   We currently use Framer’s built-in, privacy-focused analytics, which does not use cookies or persistent identifiers to recognise individuals across days.     This website may link to websites operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for their content or handling of personal data.
